Chicago’s Mayfest is the annual kick-off event for our summer festival season. In 2018 we celebrated our 23rd year with a weekend of endless fun.

Our main stage at Mayfest is set up under a BIG-TOP tent, and features some of the best (ice cold) beverages such as Bloody Marys, Vodka Lemonades, and of course, a variety of beer selections. This event is known for showcasing some of the best music, entertainment, and festival food in all of Chicago– what could be better?

Admission is only $10 and the venue is conveniently located at Ashland Ave & Barry, in Chicago. The Paulina stop on the Brown Line is only a couple blocks away.

Chicago Kids Day Saturday, May 19th 10am-1:30pm

Chicago Kids Day is a celebration of children’s health and wellness! Our mission is to create a fun and entertaining way to educate and teach kids about health and safety. This family event is a community effort put on by real people who work in the community.

Dr. Sarah Weber and StarEvents have teamed up to present this one of a kind event geared toward educating kids on health, safety and wellness in a fun and entertaining way! This year’s event will benefit Purple Asparagus. Purple Asparagus educates children, families, and the community about eating that’s good for the body and the planet. In the 2017-18 school year, over 1,000 students in 16 Chicagoland schools will receive Purple Asparagus’ nutrition education program, Delicious Nutritious Adventures. Special thanks to our 2018 top sponsor, State Farm’s, Diane Morado.

ASHLAND @ BARRY NEAR THE PAULINA BROWN LINE STOP

FROM CTA TRAINS

Mayfest is located at the corner of Ashland & Barry Avenue, closest to the Paulina Brown Line stop, or if you’re coming from the Red Line you can get off at the Belmont stop and walk to the location.

FROM CTA BUSES

The CTA #9 Bus is your best bet if you’re located directly south or north of the Ashland/Barry Avenue intersection in Lakeview. If you’re coming from the west or east, the CTA #77 bus will drop you off closest to Mayfest.

FROM NORTHWEST SUBURBS

Take I-90 towards Chicago all the way until the Addison exit and then make your way to Mayfest by heading west on Addison or Belmont.

FROM SOUTHWEST SUBURBS

Follow I-88 E, I-294 N and I-90 E to N Kimball Ave in Chicago. Take exit 45B from I-90 E and head west on Addison or Belmont until you get to Ashland and then head south to Barry Avenue.
