Surrender to temptation when you and your family bite into fresh strawberries dipped in double dark chocolate, or crunchy popcorn drizzled with melted chocolate. Bask in the flavor of a perfect chocolate cake…taste the sweetness of the ultimate chocolate donut…even sip up a chocolate martini… Long Grove’s many shops and special vendors are waiting for your visit with chocolate-themed items and our restaurants are geared up with chocolate inspirations as well.

Back by popular demand, Long Grove invites you to enjoy the 10th annual Long Grove Chocolate Fest on May 1-2-3, 2009. You and your family can fill a day – or a weekend –with chocolaty treats, live music, great food and distinctive shopping in charming Long Grove. Enjoy chocolate demonstrations and workshops, wine parings, live music all over town and plenty of children’s activities.

Only in Long Grove can you combine the best of trendy shopping and dining with the ambience of yesteryear. You will discover beautiful gardens, trendy shops, art galleries, and one-of-a-kind restaurants. You can even stroll Long Grove’s signature covered bridge and admire the centuries-old buildings that now house our modern shops.

Besides exceptional dining at our various village restaurants, other favorite foods will be available at more than 20 outdoor tents, ranging from delicious gyros to smoothies. Food booths are open from 10 am to 6 pm, and Long Grove’s restaurants are open well beyond Fest hours. Grab a beer at the Beer/Brat tent and enjoy the live outdoor entertainment!
